AACEPT Gambia GIRLS Campaign
The AACEPT Gambia GIRLS Campaign is a bursary scheme currently offered to talented girls and young women in The Gambia with the potential to make a positive impact on the global stage.
As part of our ongoing commitment to bridge the gaps in education in The Gambia, each year we offer a minimum of 10 students the chance to have their school fees, uniforms, books and extra study classes paid for an academic year. Funding will continue through university if top grades are maintained.
Bursaries are aimed at students from rural areas in The Gambia who would not otherwise be able to afford to attend the top schools or access the literature and equipment for study that will enable them to excel. The scheme helps to support future innovators and leaders.
This project is focused on supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goal 5 – to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. It is designed to attract outstanding talent across The Gambia who can aid the much-needed development of the country.
